Rooted In Service

State Representative Mike Odioso has always been called to service. As a husband, father, educator, community leader, and conservative advocate, Mike has spent his life giving back to his community and fighting for the causes and values he believes in.

Mike graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1981 before earning his degree in History from the University of Cincinnati in 1985. He went on to graduate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1988 and later completed a Master of Education from Mount St. Joseph University in 1999.

A respected local educator with a strong background in law, Mike has built a career rooted in service, leadership, and advocacy. Through his community involvement and volunteer work, he has developed strong relationships across Green Township, Hamilton County, the Ohio State Legislature, the Governor’s Office, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, and Ohio’s federal congressional delegation. Mike has also served as a guardian ad litem in Hamilton County Juvenile and Dependency Courts.

Mike’s commitment to public service is deeply personal. He and his wife, Leslie, raised their daughter, Audrey Marie Odioso, who was born with developmental disabilities. Through Audrey’s life, Mike and Leslie gained a deep appreciation for the support and services provided by the Hamilton County and Butler County Boards of Developmental Disabilities, as well as the State of Ohio’s Department of Developmental Disabilities. Audrey passed away on June 5, 2015, and her life continues to inspire Mike’s dedication to serving others.

On November 5, 2024, Mike was elected to represent Ohio’s 30th District in the House of Representatives, receiving 68.8 percent of the vote. He took the oath of office on January 7, 2025. As a member of the 136th General Assembly, Mike serves as Vice Chair of the Education Committee and as a member of the Judiciary Committee, Child and Human Services Committee, and Energy Committee.

Mike and Leslie have been married for 37 years and live in Green Township. They are the proud parents of three children: Audrey, Lauren, and Lucas.
